Emily Drabinski Wins Publication of the Year Award

We are pleased to note that Professor Emily Drabinski (Library) has won the Ilene F. Rockman Publication of the Year Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Instruction Section. 

The article, "Toward a Kairos of Library Instruction," which appeared in The Journal of Academic Librarianship, grew out of Drabinski's 2011 master's thesis, which Drabinski wrote in the LIU Brooklyn English Department, under the direction of Professor Patricia Stephens (Professor of English and Director of the LIU Brooklyn Writing Center).
