The
concentration in Literature emphasizes the
rigorous study of literary and cultural texts both from British and American
literatures and from non-Western traditions historically excluded from literary
studies. In addition to learning about literary traditions, students hone their
skills in critical thinking, textual analysis and persuasive writing.
