English Major Orientation

Calling all English majors!

In the interest of building community and a sense of belonging in the Department, we are starting a new tradition this semester: English-major "orientation."

The idea is to have an event that will be BOTH a party for English majors and faculty AND an information session for students who might be INTERESTED in the English Department. Going forward, we hope to do this every semester.

Because we all have different schedules and aren't necessarily on campus the same days, we're going to have the event twice:

1) Wednesday, February 20th, 2-3PM, Spector Lounge, English Department.

2) Thursday, February 21st, 11AM-noon, Spector Lounge, English Department.


There will be pizza and soda and interesting people to meet.

Please reply to wayne.berninger@liu.edu by Thursday, February 14th, so we know how many to expect. In your RSVP, indicate which date you can attend, and list your name, e-mail, phone, and favorite pizza topping.
