Welcome back, English majors, minors, and friends! We hope your semester is off to a good start.
To kick off the new academic year, the English department and Sigma Tau Delta are hosting an event to give you some ideas about careers that might interest you. We've invited
* a bookmaker extraordinaire (Sarah Wallen)
* a librarian/zinester (Kate Angell)
* a local non-profit agency the helps women write and publish their stories (The Women's Press Collective)
When and Where: October 10, 5 p.m., the Spector Lounge (4th floor of the H building)
There will be food! Let us know if you're coming so we can be sure to have enough. Feel free to drop in and to bring friends!
