Congratulations to Professor Barbara Henning (English) on the upcoming publication (June 2018) of her fictional memoir Just Like That (Spuyten Duyvil).
Zahra Patterson: Alumni News
Zahra Patterson (Creative Writing MFA, 2010) will graduate (summa cum laude) this spring from the Teaching and Learning program at NYU Steinhardt. This is her second master's degree in Secondary English Education/Special Education.
She also recently joined NYU's Beta Pi chapter of Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education.

Jonathan Haynes: Fulbright Fellowship
We are very happy to report that Professor Jonathan Haynes (English) has been awarded a Fulbright fellowship to research his sabbatical project in Nigeria over the next year.
Tina Barry: Writer in Residence
Tina Barry (MFA, Creative Writing, 2014) will be artist in residence as a writer this summer at the Byrdcliffe Artists Guild in Woodstock. She will be completing work on a manuscript about Marc Chagall's lover and her daughter. There will be a show that includes Barry's writing and the work of 14 women artists in October at the Wired Gallery in High Falls, NY. The gallery is on the same street where Chagall once lived.
Katrinka Moore: Book Party
There will be a book party at Poets House for Katrinka Moore, alum (MA, Teaching of Writing) and former adjunct professor in the LIU Brooklyn English Department. Her new book of poems is Wayfarers.
