News from Betsy Hall: Judge for NCTE Writing Prize
Professor Betsy Hall (Assistant Director of the LIU English Department's First-Year Writing Program) was invited by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) to serve as a judge for the national Norman Mailer Student Writing Award. She served as a second round judge for the Four-Year College Creative Non-fiction Award, which includes a $5000 cash prize.
