On April 15, 2016, Dennis Linder, a dermatologist and Professor of Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Medical University of Graz (in Austria) presented a paper about the "Skin Man" series of poems by Professor Mary Kennan Herbert (English) at the 7th International Poetry and Medicine Symposium (London), hosted by the Hippocrates Initiative for Poetry and Medicine.

As finals week approaches, the Writing Center and the Center for Learning and Academic Success are co-hosting The Spring Write-In: A Long Night Against Procrastination.

Come and work on remaining papers or assignments. Bring your own computer or use one of ours. Tutors and a Reference Librarian will be available to assist you.

Tina Barry: News

Two poems by Tina Barry (MFA, Creative Writing, 2014), from her first book of poems and short fiction, Mall Flower (Big Table Publishing), have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and one prose piece has been selected to appear in The Best Short Fiction 2016 (Queens Ferry Press).
